Vango Inflatable Tents 2013

We thought it would be a good idea to talk through the fabrics used on the family Vango Inflatable Tents for 2013. In the two previous years Vango developed the Vango Airbeam tents using the same sort of polyester 75 denier fabrics that they and many tent brands use. For 2013 Vango have decided to up the spec of the main family Vango Inflatable Tents to a 150 denier polyester fabric, the big advantage of using a 150 denier fabric is how long the tent will last. The sun's UV rays can break down fabrics and the higher the denier the longer the fabric will last, you might think a fabric with double the denier would last twice as long but in fact a 150 denier fabric tent will last 4-5 times longer than a 75 denier fabric. You can still buy the Vango Inflatable tents with the 75 denier fabric but you will find these are either 2012 stock that are being sold through or the Vango Airbeams that are sold in the big national multiple outdoor retailers will be the 75 denier as price is key for them but family run independent camping stores prefer the quality of the new 150 denier tents. The great thing about the new family Airbeam tents for 2013 is they are very similar in price to the 2012 tents but they will last and last in comparison to the 75 denier tents.
