PRICE MATCH CHALLENGE:
The price match challenge is offered to try and give our customers the best possible deals, it may be removed at any time. The "Price Match Challenge" only applies to Tents, Caravan and Motor Home Awning, we do not include accessories such as tent carpets and footprints etc.
EX DEMO / SECONDS
All Ex Demo or seconds products will have a full description AND IT WILL BE MADE VERY CLEAR IN THE TITLE THAT THE PRODUCT IS AN EX DEMO OR SECONDS and will be reduced to clear. We like to keep our inflatable tent and awning display nice and fresh so we sell off the demo products fairly quickly, on average a tent or awning will be pitched for around 8 weeks for a polyester tent and around 12 weeks for a poly cotton.
Seconds maybe a tent or awning that's been returned due to a small fault which will not affect the awning or tent when it is being used, we will of course try our best to show any fault.
If for any reason you are not happy with your ex demo or seconds purchase you may (at your expense) return the product to ourselves within 14 days. We will inspect the product to make sure it has not been used and has just been inspected at your end...
CANCELLATIONS / CHANGE OF MIND
If you have placed an order but then wish to change it, please contact us as soon as possible (Email: email@example.com Tel: 01763 262555). We will try our best to make any changes but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so as the order may already have been shipped/processed. In such cases, you may have to wait until you receive the order and then follow the normal return/cancellation procedures below.
Cancelling an Order & Distance Selling Regulations:
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason, goods must be in an unused state (as new). The cancellation period will expire 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the courier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods. To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or post (Cross Camping and Leisure Ltd, Phillimore Garden Centre, Cambridge Road, Melbourn, Nr Royston, Hertfordshire, sg8 6ey) of your decision to cancel by a clear statement (see example below)

If you cancel and return your order in full, we will refund the full payment received in relation to the products included in your order. We may make a deduction from the refund for loss of value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of damage or unnecessary handling by you. We will make the refund without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day we receive from you all goods supplied in this order, or 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods. We will make the refund using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction.
You (the customer) will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. If the goods cannot be normally returned by post, due to weight or size, we can arrange for the goods to be collected at your cost via our courier, if you wish to use this service please contact us for a price.
RETURNS FOR FAULTY GOODS:
Faulty goods may be returned for inspection, goods returned must be in a clean dry condition, otherwise they will be returned and you will be charged the price of the postage. If goods are returned it is the responsibility of you the customer for the return postage (up to £10.00, if more than £10,00 please email so we can arrange the collection), if goods are found to be faulty we will refund the return cost of shipping you may of incurred up to the total of £10,00 as prievously mentioned unless a collection has been arranged by Cross Camping. Any Item/s that is/are returned must be booked in by contacting Cross Camping by either email via the "Contact us" button which can be found at the top of most pages on this website or by post to the address given in the "Contact us" section.
All goods supplied by ourselves are for private use with moderate usage, no warranty will be given for any product which is used for long term business use.
OUT OF STOCK ITEMS: If any item you have chosen is unavailable you shall be contacted via your e-mail address as soon as is possible. If no response is made within 7 days your order will automatically be cancelled.
DELIVERY: Most items are in stock and will be sent out on the day of order if the order is received before 12.00 am; delivery is usually the next working day but in the summer months this may extend to 2-3 days for delivery, if your order is needed in a hurry please call to check how quickly we can deliver to yourselves. If you have not received your goods within 4 working days please let us know via the "Contact us" button which can be found at the top of every page on this website or by phone on 01763 262555 and we will track your order.
Deliveries made to the main land UK are normally free of charge for orders over £60.00. There are some exceptions such as the more remote and northern areas of Scotland and all islands. We can deliver to Northern Island but only parcels up to 30kg which means most tents and some awnings we will not be able ship, also a large delivery supplement would need to be worked out, even smaller items will incur a delivery supplement of at least £15.00. If we do need to place a surcharge on the order due to the location we will inform you the customer as soon as possible. If you the customer decide not to go ahead with the order we will refund any payments that have been taken. Our courier delivers to the delivery address not to a specific person, it is the customer’s responsibility to choose an appropriate safe & secure destination where you are happy for any person living there or working there to sign and receive the parcel.
You the customer must open all packages to check for shortages before you sign for the parcels. Shortages will not be excepted if you the customer have signed the delivery note without noting any shortages. Signing the delivery note is excepting all of the goods you have ordered have been delivered.
At this time we do not ship goods to outside of the UK.
SECURITY: Credit Card Security Shopping is safe with www.inflatabletentsonline.co.uk and we use the Worldpay secure payment systems. Your credit or debit card details do NOT get stored on our website or any of our computers and all payment requests to your card issuer are via a secure automated systems. Please note that none of our customers has ever reported to us any fraudulent use of their credit card as a result of shopping with us.
ERRORS: While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of the goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling the order. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. Sizes, colours and images are for use as a guide only.
LIABILITY: Cross camping and leisure Ltd in this case T/A as www.inflatabletentsonline.co.uk are not liable for compensation for any losses incurred due to late deliveries or goods discovered to be faulty after use. All goods must be checked for faults within 10 working days of taking delivery. We reserve the right to return to the manufacturer any goods that are found to be faulty after this period for inspection before any decision is made as to repair, replacement, refund or no further action. All colours, description, sizes etc are for a guide only, if any of these features are critical then please either contact ourselves or visit the shop.
CONTRACT: We are not obliged to supply the goods to you until we have confirmed that we have both accepted your order and that it has been shipped. No contract will exist until we have dispatched the goods.
FREE GIFTS: Any product that is given as a FREE GIFT with another paid for product will carry no warranty. If the FREE PRODUCT is faulty from new or a fault occurs at a later date Cross Camping and Leisure Ltd will not be liable to replace the faulty product as no payment has been made for the FREE GIFT.
VAT: VAT is charged at the government set rates.
COPYRIGHT: Our websites include material which is owned by or licensed to ourselves. This material will include and is not limited to the design, look, appearance, graphics, content and layout. Reproduction is prohibited for any commercial use and in accordance with the copyright notice which is part of our terms and conditions. We encourage links to our website for forum use and for personal use.
CAMPING TIPS: Camping by its very nature brings you closer to the great outdoors and for this reason Cross Camping cannot guarantee any tent or awning to be fully waterproof, windows, vents, doors and seams are points where water ingress may occur. We strongly recommend that when you purchase your tent you also purchase a tube of seam sealant and a tin of silicon spray to assist in keeping the elements at bay.
Polyester tents can suffer from excessive amounts of condensation and this can sometimes be reduced by opening and using the vents in the tent, keeping wet clothing etc out of the tent, polyester tents do not normally need to be weathered but some manufacturers do use a new kind of thread on the seams that need to be weathered. Customers may need to use some seam sealant in polyester tents as it is impossible to make every seam 100% fully waterproof. Poly cotton tents can also suffer from a build up of condensation but it will be far less than a tent made of a polyester fabric.
Poly cotton tents do need to be weathered, this is a cycle of soaking the tent and allowing it to fully dry out, this allows the fibres to swell and knit together, seams need this cycle even more than the main tent fabric. This cycle normally only need to be done once but depending on the weather this may take a couple of cycles. If a poly cotton tent is used for the first time in rain and the rain is medium to heavy or prolonged expect a poly cotton tent to allow water through the fabric, a mist may form on the inside of the tent. Seams are more prone to water ingress and may need a spay of a tent waterproofing (we prefer the Storm brand) to make the seams more water resistant, do not be concerned as this is typical. Ideally the weathering process should be done before the tent is used for a holiday. Poly cotton tents will never be as waterproof as a polyester tent but the advantages of the living environment far out weigh the small amount of water that may enter the tent.
All tents supplied by Cross Camping come with the correct amount of poles. Poles are constructed from glassfibre, steel or aluminium, none of the poles supplied can be guaranteed against storm damage. Pole sections can normally be replaced by Cross Camping or any good camping retailer. Please take note of weather warnings, all family tents are designed for fair weather use.
All tents supplied by Cross Camping come with the correct amount of pegs. The pegs supplied with the tents are basic and are only suitable for fair weather summer use. We strongly recommend that when you purchase your tent that you also purchase a mixture of extra pegs that will suit the many different ground conditions you may come across while camping, for this reason Cross Camping cannot guarantee any tent against storm damage. We also recommend extra guys are purchased as this may help save your tent in strong winds.
A test pitch and run through of your camping equipment should be performed before any holidays are taken as Cross Camping cannot be held responsible for any loss due to faulty items. All physical faults need to be reported to within 10 days of receipt of your goods.

What we do with the information our customers give us:-
We use our customers contact information (given during registration at our site) to send goods or services ordered, to contact customers if we have a question about the order. We also use the customers contact information to notify them of special offers, clearance sales via our newsletter. (Our newsletter is sent no more than once a month).
Newsletter opt-out options
We send newsletters approximately once a month about products and events we think you will be interested in, if you do not wish to receive our newsletter, simply follow the opt-out instruction at the bottom of the newsletter and you will not be sent our newsletter any more.
Do we share your contact information?
We regard the information you have given us as confidential so we do not share, sell, rent out or give our customer database to third parties. We store you details in our database so that next time you shop with us, you do not have to fill the long winded form asking for your personal details again.
